How to get BLUE REFLECTION to work.

This is on POP_OS! 21.10, so depending on your OS, you may need to edit some of the info.

First, you need to start the game in proton 5.0. Don't play. Just start it, so it creates the prefix folder in steam.

To get the game to run first, you need to make a conf File in your main game folder called dxvk.conf. You can also download dxvk. It should have the dxvk.conf In it that you can just copy-paste into the folder.

Open the dxvk.conf where you passed those two commands.

d3d9.deferSurfaceCreation = True

d3d11.constantBufferRangeCheck = True

And if you have downloaded the file then, just Delete the # infront of it and change it from False to True.

After that, you need to install MF, which took me a long time to find out how to do it since all guides on the internet suck for noobs like me.

First, you download MF-install here.
https://github.com/z0z0z/mf-install
After you have downloaded it, then you need to unpack it.

Now open the terminal

and go to the folder with Cd fx.
Now put in CD and where the folder is. the easy way is to drag and drop the folder into the terminal after CD make sure there is a Space between them

Then you need to tell it where to install it.
Put this in the terminal

export WINEARCH=win64

After that put this into the terminal

export WINEPREFIX="/home/user/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/658260/pfx"

if you use you Home foler for your game then you just need to change "user" with your own username.
if not then you need tt chane it to where youer pfx is

Now if you didnt change the install folder then you just need to put this into the terminal if you have just like above you need to cahnge it to the steam gamefolder.
export PROTON="~/.steam/steam/steamapps/common/Proton 5.0/"

Then you just put this in the terminal

./mf-install.sh
and it install it for you.

When it is done installing, make sure you have GStreamer installed.
https://gstreamer.freedesktop.org/documentation/installing/on-linux.html?gi-language=c

i would recommend double-checking one by one if they are installed on Synaptic or installed them, Manuel, from there that's op to you.

After that, it should work. If not, you can comment here.
