How to get protontricks to Work
if you don't have protontricks installed on your OS, then this is how you do it.
You can install Protontricks using a community package or pipx. pip can also be used, but it is not recommended due to possible problems. If you're using the Flatpak version of Steam, follow the Flatpak-specific installation instructions instead.
Unless you're using community packages, you may need to install Winetricks separately.
I am only going to show how to install it with Flatpak, so if you want to install it with one of the others then go Here.
First, you are going to open the Terminal.
Then you are going to put in this command.
echo "alias protontricks='flatpak run com.github.Matoking.protontricks'" >> ~/.bashrc
That should install protontricks for you.
Now protontricks should work, but depending on how your setup is, protontricks may not have permissions, so you need to give it that.
For example, to grant access to /mnt/MySSD/SteamLibrary, you can run the following command:
flatpak override --user --filesystem=/mnt/MySSD/SteamLibrary com.github.Matoking.protontricks
That should give it permission to install with protontricks.
